ORLOVA's performance women's jacket from the SKITOURING series with its hybrid, ergonomic construction regulates the internal climate and makes sure you stay dry even during demanding physical activity such as cross-country skiing or ski-touring. The moulded parts and superelastic materials ensure excellent mobility. The unique Polartec® Alpha® direct active insulation, protected by a lightweight and elastic 2.5-layer membrane, is placed on the front body, shoulders, sleeves and upper back. As one of the best synthetic insulations on the market, Alpha® Direct optimizes warmth, resists moisture, has excellent vapor permeability and works even when wet. Alpha® Direct does not need any lining, making significantly eliminates weight. A windproof and waterproof 2.5 layer membrane (10,000mm / 10,000 g/ m2/ 24h) covers the Polartec® Alpha® direct insulation and protects exposed areas body from wind, rain, snow and guarantees high vapour permeability. Unique elasticity and breathability comes with the amazingly stretchy Blizzard® Thermal comfort knit, positioned on the back and forearms. This Italian-made material has a special weaving density where it can maintain the internal temperature even when the fabric is stretched. The risk of hypothermia is therefore lower than with conventional elastic fabrics. The underarm panels are made of a fabric inspired by GRID technology, whose role is to quickly wick sweat away from the body. To secure the jacket well, pull down the adjustable jacket brim. In addition to fixing, the elasticated cuffs with a thumb hole connect well with the gloves. The YYK® two-way front zipper is complemented by two zippered pockets with mesh inside.
