Lightweight 1-layer material with 4-way stretch adapts to every step, ascent, and descent – it doesn't pull or restrict. Quick-drying fibers quickly wick away sweat, so even after a steep climb, you don't feel wet and cold. UV protection protects the skin during a long day in the sun, so you can go over open ridges without constantly worrying about sunburn. Practical YKK® zippers for detaching the pants work smoothly and reliably season after season.

Overheating during the day, then chill when it clouds over – a classic problem in spring and summer. SOCRATES solves it simply: when it's hot, detach the lower part and you have shorts; when it cools down, zip them back and you have full-length pants. An adjustable waistband and belt loops keep the pants in place even with a backpack on your back.
