The windproof and water-repellent 2-layer membrane (10 000 mm / 10 000 g/m²/24h) provides reliable protection against wind, snow, and moisture. Beneath it works the active insulation Polartec® Alpha® Direct, which provides thermal comfort while maintaining high breathability and helps effectively regulate body temperature during movement and rest. Thanks to its construction, it does not need an inner lining; its fibers touch the base layer of clothing directly, which helps reduce the overall weight of the skirt without compromising thermal comfort.
The elastic waistband adapts comfortably to the body, and the full-length side zipper allows you to put the skirt on directly over trousers without taking off ski boots or winter footwear. An extra zipper on the other side expands the range of motion and increases comfort during longer strides or steep ascents.
It is an ideal backup layer to keep in your backpack for cold summits, windy breaks, or long descents when you need to quickly add thermal comfort without additional complicated layering.
