Description and Parameters

Demanding ski mountaineering tour, a long ascent in freezing conditions, an exposed ridge and a technical descent in deep snow. These hybrid pants were designed precisely for such conditions – to provide protection, thermal comfort and breathability without unnecessary extra weight.

The front part is insulated with active Polartec® Alpha® insulation, which is also used by professional units in demanding conditions. In combination with the ultra-light and durable Pertex® Quantum material, it provides warmth, wind protection and at the same time effectively wicks away excess moisture during the ascent. The seat area made of a three-layer elastic softshell with a membrane (10 000 mm / 10 000 g/m²/24h) protects against moisture, wind and mechanical stress when in contact with snow or rock. The back panel made of Blizzard® Thermal Comfort material brings high breathability and elasticity, while retaining its thermal insulation properties even when stretched during movement. The result is a balanced combination of protection and temperature regulation during intense performance in the mountains.

The lower part of the pants is reinforced with abrasion-resistant material, which helps protect against damage from ski edges, crampons or contact with hard terrain. Full-length side zippers allow easy dressing even directly over ski boots and also serve to regulate ventilation during the ascent.
