Description and Parameters
You are climbing uphill on skis, your body is working at full capacity and the wind is pressing against your chest. KRIZNA 2 is a technical hybrid jacket designed for intense movement in winter mountains – it helps maintain an optimal body climate during the ascent while also providing protection in deteriorating weather.
The active insulation Polartec® Alpha® Direct, considered one of the most high-performance synthetic insulations on the market, is placed on the front of the body, shoulders, sleeves and part of the back. It optimizes thermal comfort, effectively wicks away excess heat, resists moisture and works even when wet. It does not need an inner lining, which helps reduce the overall weight of the jacket.
The insulation is protected by a lightweight elastic 2-layer membrane (10 000 mm / 10 000 g/m²/24h), which protects exposed parts of the body from wind, snow and moisture. Breathable and elastic panels on the sides and on part of the back support effective thermoregulation and maximum range of motion during the ascent.
The KRIZNA 2 model is complemented by an inner mesh pocket, reflective zipper pulls coated with material for easier handling with gloves, and a new chin guard for greater comfort when the collar is zipped up.
