When you want to head out for a fast ski touring ascent or a one-day hike with minimal gear, every extra gram is noticeable. FERRET with a volume of 18 liters is designed for dynamic movement in winter mountains and offers everything essential without unnecessary weight.
The back system made of EVA foam minimizes snow buildup and helps maintain comfort during movement. In the main compartment you will find an organizer for an avalanche probe and shovel, a compartment for a hydration bladder with an outlet on the shoulder strap, and space for essential gear for one-day hikes. The comfortable hip belt is complemented by a pocket for small items, and the adjustable chest strap is equipped with an integrated whistle for emergency situations.
The backpack allows diagonal ski attachment with the option to adjust their position on the back. There is also attachment for an ice axe or trekking poles and an integrated helmet net stored in a separate bottom compartment. Practicality is complemented by two side mesh pockets with different access, a front zip pocket with a clip for small items, durable YKK zippers and Duraflex buckles. The bottom loops can be hidden if you prefer a clean and minimalist look.
It is primarily intended for ski mountaineering and ski touring. Thanks to its low weight and functional gear organization, you can also use it for winter snowshoe hikes, fast hiking or cross-country skiing with your own equipment.
