Description and Parameters

Skialp ascent, cross-country skiing, or winter hiking in cold weather – the vest warms the core, protects against wind, and still leaves the arms with complete freedom of movement. VHAN 3 is an improved technical vest designed for intense movement in the mountains.

The front is protected by an elastic windproof and waterproof 2-layer membrane (10 000 mm / 10 000 g/m²/24h), under which active insulation Polartec® Alpha® Direct works. It provides an excellent balance of warmth, breathability, and low weight. The back and side panels made of Blizzard® Thermal Comfort ensure effective moisture wicking and stable thermal comfort even during intense movement. Large front pockets with two-way YKK® zippers can hold skins, gloves, or goggles. Model 2024/2025: new internal mesh pocket organization for better gear arrangement, an anatomical hood made of GRID material compatible with a helmet, a new chin guard, reflective zipper pulls, and a silicone tape on the back hem to prevent riding up.
