Fleece or Polar Fleece is a functional synthetic knit, made of polyester fibers, which are combed on both sides during the production process and cut to the required length. The specific fibrous surface has a thermo-insulating function and also takes care of moisture removal from the body.
Fleece has been compared to natural wool. Unlike it, it has a lower weight, variability, dries faster and is more affordable. It insulates well enough and provides excellent breathability. As a material, it is extremely durable. In recent times, fleece has acquired an ecological dimension. Recycled PET bottles are already largely used for its production.
